Fines to be introduced in new parking rules at Tesco Cleethorpes.

Tesco Cleethorpes has fetched in a private firm to take over the enforcement for illegal parking at the store. Signs have been put up warning motorists of the new £70 fines.

ANPR cameras or wardens will monitor the car park to make sure parent and child bays and disabled bays are used correctly. Horizon Parking will be taking over the enforcement.

It is believed that some disabled drivers hadn’t heard about it. But disabled drivers often struggle looking for parking spaces.

Notices have been put up to remind people to have their blue badge on display if they occupy a disabled parking bay. The signs also tell parents that they can only park in a parent and child bay if they have young children.

The notices also warn that all vehicles must be parked within the marked bays.
