World Book Night at Lincs Inspire Libraries
TO celebrate World Book Night on Tuesday, April 23, Lincs Inspire Libraries and Arts Development will be giving out free copies of The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion, as provided by national charity The Reading Agency.
The idea behind the giveaway is to encourage those who don’t regularly read to take time out of their day to pick up a book. Members of the public can take a copy for themselves or to give to a friend or family member who doesn’t usually read.
The Rosie Project story will appeal to those who like a quirky and loveable romance with an unlikely hero. The characters and plot will also encourage the reader to think about how people form relationships.
Lawrence Dunn, Development Officer for Lincs Inspire Libraries, said: “We ran this book giveaway last year and received great feedback from the community. Several people who received books said they were such a good read that they passed them onto others for their enjoyment. We are hoping the same thing happens again this year.”
Copies of the book can be picked up from Lincs Inspire venues on a drop-in basis (while stocks last) during their usual opening times, details of which are at www.lincsinspire.com.
World Book Night is run by The Reading Agency, a national charity that inspires people to become confident and enthusiastic readers.
