There has been droughts and high temperatures because of climate change, which has led to a drop in production. That is very bad news for beer fans.
The price of a pint may double as severe weather events hit barley production.
The journal Nature Plants looked at a drop in barley production,on supply price and consumption of beer across 34 places in the world.
They found that beer consumption in the UK would drop between 0.37 billion and 1.33 billion litres a year. Also prices could double.
It would mean that 39 pints per person less would be drunk a year. Costs would rise on average to £7.20 and to more than £10 in London,
