Cleethorpes Leisure Centre closed suddenly on Friday due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’.
The Cleethorpes swimming pool is set to reopen to the public this afternoon after it was closed due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ on Friday.
The swimming pool is reopening to public swimmers at 1pm today.
Too cold for children.
However, swimming lessons remain cancelled as the pool could be considered “too cold for children”, at present.
A spokeswoman for Lincs Inspire reported the swimming pool is reopening to the public today from 1pm and is to return to its regular program from 6.30pm.
Technical fault
The swimming pool was subject to a “technical fault” which has now been resolved by contractors, however this means it now needs time to reach its usual temperature.
Children’s swimming lessons run from 3.45pm to 6.30pm, and at this time today, the swimming pool will be closed to both learning and public swimmers.
