By A long serving worker at Young’s Fish Factory died while working at the Humberstone Road site.
The emergency services were called to the Young’s factory on Humberstone Road at around 12.51pm following the sudden death of a worker.
A paramedic, two ambulances and the air ambulance were called to the scene. The helicopter landed in the middle of Hardy’s Recreation Ground.
Anybody affected to speak to HR.
A spokesperson for the factory confirmed the death of one of an employee and has encouraged anybody affected by it to speak to the HR department.
Humberside Police also attended the scene and are not treating the death as suspicious.
Not yet apparent what the cause of death was.
The family of the man has been informed but the cause of death is not yet apparent.
