Family pets get more Christmas gifts than grandparents!
Oh dear, a survey has revealed that Britons in the UK spend more on their pet’s Christmas presents than on the grandparents.
A poll of 2,000 Britons found that just £20.02 was spent on each grandparent but £27.34 was spent on average on the family pet. The highest spending was on children under 16 at £129.79.
The average spent on partners was £120.51, children over 16 £105.99, mums £63.51, dads £51.81, and siblings £47.46. it has been estimated that a total of £33 billion will be spent on Christmas gifts this year.
People have been urged to budget by money.co.uk who carried out the poll. They said with high expectations to meet it is so easy to fall into debt.
