By Appeal for information after serious assault in Grimsby
Humberside Police have appealed for information regarding an assault that took place.
The assault took place on Saturday, 14th May, Victoria Street, Grimsby.
In the hours between 3:00 am and 4:00 am a man is said to have assaulted a woman.
Officers are understood to be carrying out enquiries for the incident, a woman suffered multiple injuries to her nose, cheek, and eye.
In their statement, Humberside Police:
Officers investigating an assault are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
“It is reported that between 3:00 am and 4:00 am on Saturday 14 May, a man is reported to have assaulted a woman on Victoria Street, near Freshney Place, Grimsby.
“Extensive enquiries have been carried out and we are now interested in hearing from anyone who may have information or witnessed the incident.
