Dramatic arson attack damages two vehicles

According to reports, an arson attack was carried out on Barcroft Street, Cleethorpes. 

Two cars were involved in this and one was engulfed in flames, the heat melting another.

Residents living on the street allegedly saw an orange glow through their curtains, from the intense blaze.

On Sunday, April 10th, locals exited their houses to find the fire ravaging the street.

Allegedly, one car was left burnt out and another had its bonnet melted beyond repair.

It is understood a Police investigation is ongoing at this time.

One user commented on social media: “All kicking off on Barcroft Street again”.

“What is the world coming to?”.

A spokesperson from Humberside Police said:

” We are investigating a case of arson after we were called to an incident at around 9:30 pm on Sunday, April 10th. It is reported that an unknown person/s has approached a vehicle on Barcroft Street, Cleethorpes, and is thought to have started a fire.

” Officers are continuing with lines of inquiry and reviewing CCTV footage to identify those involved. If anyone has information about this incident that would help with our inquiries, please call our non-emergency number 101, quoting log 646 of 10th April.”.
