TXM Healthcare are currently seeking experienced and dedicated community psychiatric nurse to work within a psychiatric liaison team to be based within London.
ideal candidate will possess a proven background in being part of a similar work force with a excellent knowledge of community psychiatric nursing.
This position will be for 3 months with a strong possibility of extending.
Duties:
Assisting the development and maintenance of good working relationships with general hospital staff, local psychiatric services, primary care and non-statutory organizations and to participate in training opportunities
Carrying out psychosocial assessments of patients referred from a variety of sources within the General Hospital, including A&E and the wards.
Working across the service, whilst bringing specialist skills and experience within Working Age Adult team.
Job Requirements
To be consider for the position you’ll be expected to have the follow:
– Degree or equivalent in mental health nursing
– Current NMC registration
– Significant NHS experience as a community psychiatric nurse with Crisis/Assessment team experience.
