By HMV store to stay open.
We are more than happy to announce that HMV in Grimsby and Sheffield Meadowhall will no longer be closing, this means that people in these locals areas are obliged to keep there jobs.
Five HMV stores (including Grimsby and Sheffield Meadowhall) have been at risk of closing but they will now remain open after the company had the ability to secure new agreements with various landlords.
The hero behind all this is music mogul Doug Putma, who runs the Canadian retailer Sunrise Records, he purchased a rescue deal in February 2019 after it crashed into administration for the second time in five years in December 2018.
