By After spending an eye-watering amount of Council money on moving the bus stands from directly outside Freshney Place (where the transport links worked perfectly for years) to Victoria Street West and Town Hall Street, the Council is now looking to move them AGAIN.
The failure of the planned cinema complex and the volume of anti social behaviour around the vacant space is believed to be behind the proposal.
Perhaps if the Council had listened to public concern at the time the money spent moving them back and forth could have been spent much more wisely?
