Grimsby prep school named the best in the country.
A prep school in Grimsby has been named the best in the country for 2020 by the Sunday Times. St Martin’s Preparatory School on Bargate is ranked the highest achieving school in the UK. The guide ranks the highest achieving schools in the UK from key stage two examination results.
St Martin’s has also been named joint top for the highest achieving school. St Martin’s has surpassed some of the other big named schools in the Uk, despite not setting an entrance exam and keeping the school fees well below the national average.
The Sunday Times article praised the headteachers of both the primary and prep school of the year winners. Saying that both are lead by trailblazing headteachers who exhibit care not only about their pupil’s academic outcomes, but also the young people they are growing into.
