Warehouse Team Leader (Stock department)
Full time, Permanent position
7.30am – 4pm Monday to Thursday (7:30am – 3pm on Friday)
Based in Gainsborough
Key Responsibilities
- Attain & maintain 100% stock integrity
- Attain & maintain IT systems accuracy
- Ensure the maintenance of all housekeeping standards for all work areas.
- Ensure generation and maintenance of all relevant documentation. ETPM, Product check sheets etc.
- Work closely with all functional links in a professional, polite and efficient manner.
- Develop, update and maintain a holiday planner for your team and ensure the correct level of cover is available at all times
- Ensure the Team is trained and working to customer specifications using all information available i.e. Standard Operating Procedures.
- Manage all cardboard on site and control stock integrity of all cardboard i.e. Systems vs actual match. Ensure all cardboard is consolidated and set up Min/Max levels. Liaise with buyer ensure correct stock levels are here on site in a timely manner.
- Deliver briefs from the Operation Leaders daily report.
- Complete Tier 1 boards to illustrate performance on KPI’s SQCDIP.
- Efficiently organise day to day work within the area to ensure delivery of shop orders in a timely manner to achieve customer requirements.
- Develop & update & maintain KPI’s for your area
- Performance management of the Team to improve productivity of the area in order to achieve the targets set for each KPI.
- Create & maintain SOP Standard Operating Procedures for all responsible functions and ensure these are fully understood by all staff & all staff have signed to state they understand the SOP’s & records of such are held by HR
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement and encourage the team to be creative and innovative.
- Monitor & Update the training matrices and ensure they are regularly updated.
- Carry out RTW Return to Works & disciplinaries that are required for your team
- Develop, update & maintain absence records for your team
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of modern manufacturing philosophies incorporating Lean manufacturing techniques.
