Do you consider it rude to ask someone their age?

Do you feel it’s rude if someone asks how old you are?

The tradition of never asking a woman her age came from women being seen as past her prime and being less attractive to men.

But don’t you think this is a very old fashioned attitude or still relevant today? Do you think it is ok to ask a man his age but not a woman?

Would it embarrass you if someone asked your age or are you proud of how old you are and don’t care who knows it?
